Note: You must install the RPG Maker VX RTP to play. You also need WinRAR to extract the file (I couldn’t use a .zip, they don’t like Japanese filenames).

Re:Kinder is a horror game made in RPG Maker VX by Parun. It’s a remake of the RPG Maker 2003 game Kinder, but I’m not sure if the original is even available anymore.

“Shunsuke is just a regular third-grader who…”
No, wait, that doesn’t seem right at all. Let me try that again.

“After a trip to his grandparents’, Shunsuke finds…”
No, that’s not right either.

“Shunsuke, if anything should happen to me, just wrap me up in a mat and send me down a river. Yeah. You know. A big one.”
Okay, getting warmer.

Re:Kinder is a weird game. Like, really weird. I don’t want to spoil anything, but it’s pretty demented, in ways you don’t typically see in these kinds of games. Or most games, really.

Partially because of this, I’m not sure where I’d put it as far as being a “horror” game; it breaks all the rules, after all. It is very gory and full of possibly-triggering content, however, so be warned.

Here are some extremely useful pose guides made by Aomori over on deviantArt.

This is mostly just a reference for myself because I just lost these and couldn’t remember where to find them, so I’m not going to bother tagging.  But I thought some of my followers could also possibly use these too.

Considering my tendency to draw women over men, this is useful.

helloooooo useful poses

Hello friends!
With OFF and other RPGs gaining such a large fanbase, I thought I might tell you guys about another game maker who has some really wonderful adventure games!
Mateusz Skutnik’s point and click games are all very diverse, complexe and visually-attractive games that are sure to captivate you uou

  • In Daymare Town, you must escape from “a strange and oddly deserted town that gives the unsettling feeling that eyes are peering from around corners”. The artwork in this game is marvelous, as are the game’s puzzles; give it a go!
  • The Covert Front series recounts the missions of agent Kara during her investigation to find the general Karl von Toten in a time of bombs and traitors.
  • Submachine is a series of escape games in which your goal is to escape from the many parts of a network of underground machines (ok look just play it the plot twists are woah gosh good and the artwork and gameplay is really rad).
  • And there are a whole bunch of other really cool games that can all be found here!!

Happy gaming!!
